Here in Italy, it has many names, depending on the region of the country you live in.

"La campana, detta anche riga, mondo, paradiso, settimana"
The bell, also known as line, world, paradise, week"
"Amarelinha" no Brasil.
"Marelle" en France.
And I've just learned that the Brazilian name actually comes from a corruption of the French term, which is funny because it got associated with an actual word whose meaning has nothing to do with the original. Amarelinha is simply the diminutive of "yellow", while marelle means "flat pebble"
